Ecoplexus has been active in assessing the Japanese market and developing projects there since March of 2012. The company has been working with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) since that time. Ecoplexus Japan K.K. is currently developing over 20MWs of Mega Solar projects in various prefectures across Japan which will sell power under the Government's Feed In Tariff scheme. Ecoplexus is excited to be the first foreign company to successfully work with JETRO to set up its Japanese operations and help the country with its push for more renewable energy in the wake of last years Fukushima disaster.
Ecoplexus today formally announced its intentions to enter the Japanese market and focus on Mega Solar projects.
